Information we may hold
When someone creates or uses an account, the site may hold account details needed for sign-in, such as an email address, and an optional name or display name. Where account-based Club features are used, the site may also hold information connected with access to courses, learning progress, or voluntary activity in those features.
If someone chooses to send a Sharing Circle submission or another community contribution, the submitted words, display name where used, consent to share, moderation status, safety flags, and related reactions can be stored so the feature can work. Please do not include names, school details, location details, contact information, social handles, or links in a shared submission.
Private tools and what is not monitored
Secret Vault entries are stored in the browser on the device being used. They are not sent to Secret Girls Club, a database, a social feed, or another person. If browser data is cleared, the browser is reset, or the device is changed or lost, those local entries may be cleared or unavailable too.
Some other optional Club cues and preferences are also stored in the browser so a visitor can pick up a journey or a setting later. They are not the same as an account record.
Spill the Tea is a static, private guided tool. It is not a live person, therapist, crisis line, or live monitoring service, and it does not alert anyone. If something feels unsafe, pressured, threatening, harmful, or too big to hold alone, tell a trusted adult nearby. If anyone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Sharing Circle is different from Secret Vault and Spill the Tea: material a user chooses to submit for sharing can be held or reviewed through the feature’s moderation process. It is still not an emergency or crisis response service.
Browser technologies and analytics
The site uses essential browser technologies to keep features working. When the site’s analytics configuration is enabled, it also uses PostHog for basic website and interaction analytics. The current configuration uses browser storage and cookies for that service. We do not list any other analytics provider here because we have not independently verified one.
You can manage or clear browser cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Clearing them may reset local Club tools or preferences.
Payments and service providers
When a buyer chooses a paid course, checkout and payment processing may be handled by a third-party provider. Secret Girls Club Teens pages do not ask a buyer to enter card details directly into the site.
Information may be handled by the services needed to run the site and the relevant feature, such as account, hosting, database, analytics when enabled, and checkout/payment services. We do not describe any wider sharing here because it has not been independently verified.
Keeping information safe
We use reasonable measures intended to protect the information held through the site, including access controls for account-based and moderation features. No website, device, or internet connection can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid putting highly sensitive personal information into any online tool.
Teens, parents and carers
Secret Girls Club Teens is designed to be used by young people with the appropriate support for their circumstances. Parents and carers are welcome to ask questions, especially before creating an account, purchasing a program, or using a feature that involves sharing content.
Access, correction or deletion
You can ask about personal information we hold, or ask us to correct or delete it where appropriate, by emailing hello@secretgirlsclubteens.com. We can only action information held by Secret Girls Club Teens or its relevant service providers. Secret Vault entries and other browser-local data can generally be cleared by the person using the browser or device.
Questions about privacy
For a privacy question, email hello@secretgirlsclubteens.com. This inbox is not an emergency or crisis service.
